What do Youth Ambassadors do? You will take the guidance you learned from the program and implement it into creating your passion project. We provide instruction and helpful guides. After the end of this program, you’ll have made a real impact within your community, and an amazing network of other student changemakers!
Why should I sign up for the Youth Ambassador Program? You actually get to create and execute something that’s your idea, and you get leadership experience. Ambassadors aren’t starting alone with no clue on what to do with their passion project. You’ll get guidance through meetings with a teen nonprofit founder and other Ambassadors on exactly how to launch.
What should my passion project be about? That’s up to you! Your project doesn’t have to be focused on literacy—unless you want it to be. All we ask is that it aligns with any of the following themes: - access - representation - inclusion - community
What should I expect as an Ambassador? Attend bi-weekly 1-hour meetings on Zoom. Also put in real work outside of meetings to build your passion project ground-up.
Who can apply? Students from grades 6-12 anywhere in the world. No prior experience is required!
