Join Mindful Reading in helping more children discover the joy and power of books. Our volunteers support literacy initiatives through book drives, pop-up reading corners, Pages of Care, and more. Whether you're looking to make an impact in your own community, earn service hours, or simply share your love of reading, there are meaningful ways to get involved. Together, we can expand access to books and help more young people discover the love of reading.
Service hours verification
As a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit, we will provide a certificate or letter upon request to verify your volunteer hours with us.
We are certified with President's Volunteer Service Award (PVSA) - which is a prestigious national recognition program in the United States that honors individuals who demonstrate a sustained commitment to volunteer service. It's currently on a temporary pause, but once it's resumed we can submit all recorded volunteer hours for you to earn PVSA award.
